Troubleshooting – C1 Pro Max Rock Tumbler

If your tumbler fails to operate correctly, check the following table. You can search for related questions using keywords in the search box on the right side, such as: barrel, belt, stop, slow, leak, shuts down, etc.

6Barrel does not rotatei. Remove the barrel and turn on the machine.
a. Check if you can hear the motor running. If not, that means the motor has reached the end of its lifespan or is damaged; please contact our customer service to replace the motor.
b. If you can hear the sound of the motor running, check if the belt is properly installed on both the small and large drive pulleys, and check if the pulleys are missing or damaged.
c. If the large and small belt drive pulleys are intact, manually rotate them to check for any noticeable resistance that makes rotation difficult. If there is resistance, please record a video and contact our customer service for assistance.

If everything above is fine, place the barrel back on, turn on the machine, check if you can hear the sound of the belt rubbing against the pulley; if so, replace the belt.

iii. Rotate the two rollers to see if there is any noticeable resistance; if there is, please contact our customer service for assistance.

iv.
Inspect the base for any signs of melting (
especially the bearing cover above the upper right corner of the screen.); if there are signs, please contact our customer service for assistance.

7Barrel turns too slow.i. Manually rotate the large and small belt drive pulleys to check for any noticeable resistance that makes rotation difficult. If there is resistance, please record a video and contact our customer service for assistance.

Check if you can hear the sound of the belt rubbing against the pulley; if so, replace the belt.

iii. Rotate the two rollers to see if there is any noticeable resistance; if there is, please contact our customer service for assistance.

10Barrel leaksi. Check if the hand-tightened knot is loose;
ii. Check if the barrel lid is tightly screwed on and level with the barrel body, without significant tilting;

Check if the metal threaded column is loose;
iv. Check if the metal cover or barrel is deformed.
i. Ensure that the hand-tightened knot is securely fastened to the barrel lid.
ii. Make sure the barrel lid is securely fastened and positioned level to avoid leaks.
iii.
Ensure that the metal threaded column is securely fastened. If it is found to be loose, please contact customer service for a replacement.
iv. Inspect the metal cover or barrel for any deformation. If it is found to be deformed, please contact customer service for a replacement.
11How to apply lubricant to the beltn/a1. Choose a high-quality lubricant;
2. Clean the belt: Before applying lubricant, ensure the belt surface is clean and free from dirt, dust, or other impurities.
3. Spray or apply the lubricant on the inner surface of the belt (the side that contacts the pulley) to reduce friction. Make sure not to overapply, as excessive lubricant can affect the belt's normal operation.
4. Rotate the Belt: Manually rotate the belt a few times to allow the lubricant to evenly distribute across the entire surface.
5. Check for Smooth Operation: After lubrication, observe whether the belt runs smoothly and without unusual noises.
6. Regular Maintenance: Periodically check and lubricate the belt based on usage to ensure its long-term proper functioning.
12The barrel lid is difficult to open.n/aUse the included Flat-Head Screwdrive to pry it off (see the video instruction).
13Burning smell / Motor became detached from the frame and the shaft is loose and hanging inside.n/aPlease contact our customer service.
14Motor speed is way too fastn/aIf the speed is too fast, you can continue to use speed 1 for grinding; speed 1 is already the lowest setting and cannot be lowered further. If you need a rock tumbler with a lower speed, you can contact our customer service.
