Troubleshooting – C1 / C1 Pro Rock Tumbler

7Barrel leaksi. Check if the hand-tightened knot is loose;
ii. Check if the barrel lid is tightly screwed on and level with the barrel body, without significant tilting;
iii. Check if the metal threaded column is loose;
iv. Check if the metal cover or barrel is deformed.
i. Ensure that the hand-tightened knot is securely fastened to the barrel lid.
ii. Make sure the barrel lid is securely fastened and positioned level to avoid leaks.
iii. Ensure that the metal threaded column is securely fastened. If it is found to be loose, please contact customer service for a replacement.
iv. Inspect the metal cover or barrel for any deformation. If it is found to be deformed, please contact customer service for a replacement.

9Black debris /Rubber powder coming off of the barrel.n/aWhen the rubber barrel rolls, there will be a difference in air pressure inside and outside the barrel, which will cause the rubber barrel to move toward the bottom, thus causing the bottom of the rubber barrel to rub against the shell.

A small amount of powder is normal; just be sure to clean it. If the situation is more serious and affects normal use, please contact our customer service for assistance.

11Belts keep breakingi. Check if the large and small belt drive pulleys are rotating on the same vertical line without any misalignment.
ii. Replace with a different belt to see if the same issue occurs.

i. Adjust the large and small belt drive pulleys to align on the same vertical line.
ii. If the problem persists, please contact customer service for assistance.
12Barrel smaller than expectedn/aThis rock tumbler is designed to polish a maximum of 2.5 pounds of stone at a time. If you need a larger capacity, you can choose our dual-barrel rock tumbler.
13Too loudi. Remove the barrel, turn on the machine, and check if the noise is loud without the barrel.
ii.
Place the barrel back on, turn on the machine, and confirm whether the noise comes from the motor or from the stones being polished inside the barrel.
i. If the noise comes from the motor, it needs to be replaced; please contact our customer service for assistance.
ii.
If the noise comes from the barrel, it cannot be avoided. You can try covering the entire machine with a cardboard box to reduce the noise.
14It will turn on, but the barrel won't turn.i. Remove the barrel and turn on the machine.
a. Check if you can hear the motor running. If not, that means the motor has reached the end of its lifespan or is damaged; please contact our customer service to replace the motor.
b. If you can hear the motor running, check if the large and small belt drive pulleys are missing or damaged.
c. If the large and small belt drive pulleys are intact, manually rotate them to check for any noticeable resistance that makes rotation difficult. If there is resistance, please record a video and contact our customer service for assistance.

ii.
If everything above is fine, place the barrel back on, turn on the machine, and check if the belt is loose or slipping. If so, please change the belt or contact our customer service for assistance.

15Barrel turns too slow.i. Manually rotate the large and small belt drive pulleys to check for any noticeable resistance that makes rotation difficult. If there is resistance, please record a video and contact our customer service for assistance.
